The Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority (NELHA) has been renovating its main office space to improve its ability to incubate new companies. In addition to office space for these startups, the Small Business Development Cener (SBDC) and High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC) will have a presence in the building. Come see the new digs and learn about the resources available to entrepreneurs.

Dennis Boyd is the West Hawaii Director for the Hawaii Small Business Development Center. The SBDC is a program of the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Tom Leonard is the Kona area business mentor for the High Technology Development Corporation, a state agency charged with helping Hawai`i's high technology industry grow.

After the presentation, we will have pupus, drinks, and conversation. We are informal and it is potluck, so please bring a pupu and non-alcoholic beverage to share. Reusable plates and cups are encouraged, as is taking home your own trash.
