Join us for the 12th Robotics Design Review. Midway into the FIRST Robotics Competition's build period, our high school robotics teams will show their plans for winning robots. The game is is called "Reefscape" and has an ocean theme.  It involves removing "algae" (large exersize balls) from the reef and seeding it with "coral" (PVC pipe segments). At the end of the two and a half-minute match robots weighing up to 54 kg (120 lbs) climb onto a dive cage.

After the presentation, we will have pupus, drinks, and conversation.

About the lecture series

This lecture series is a collaboration of Kona Science Café and the Hawai`i Keiki Museum, with the goal of fostering interests in science and education.  There is networking time before and after the presentation to build the science community.  It is free and open to the public.
